Dr. Ephraim Suhir is a Research Affiliate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Research Professor at Portland State University, Visiting Professor at the University of Bordeaux, France, and CEO of ERS Co., California, USA. He is a Foreign Full Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Ukraine and a Life Fellow of IEEE, ASME, SPIE, and IMAPS, as well as a Fellow of APS, the Institute of Physics (UK), and SPE.
With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Dr. Suhir has authored more than 500 scientific publications and made pioneering contributions to reliability engineering, analytical modeling, electronic and photonic systems, and applied mechanics. His research has significantly influenced the fields of microelectronics, aerospace, and reliability physics. He has received numerous prestigious international honors, including the IEEE Electronic Packaging Society Field Award, the ASME Worcester Reed Warner Medal, and the IMAPS Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to engineering research and innovation.
