Dr. Fioralba Vela is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economy, University of Vlora “Ismail Qemali”, Albania, with extensive expertise in business administration, public administration, tourism management, quality management, and organizational behavior. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tirana and a Master’s degree in Management, Economics and Law of Territorial Governance in the European Union from LIUC University and the University of Bari, Italy.
Currently serving as Head of the Business Department and Coordinator of the SMART CITY HUB at the University of Vlora, she has also held leadership roles including Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economy. Dr. Vela is actively involved in international academic collaborations, European Union-funded projects, and quality assurance initiatives in higher education. Her research and professional contributions span smart cities, innovation management, public administration, and sustainable development, with numerous publications and presentations at international conferences worldwide.
